Cara Putman will co-teach a workshop at the National ACFW conference on Author law. This class will introduce authors to key elements of the law that they need to know so they can avoid problems in their books. Areas include copyrights, trademarks, and more.

An award-winning author of more than 35 books, Cara is a Clinical Assistant Professor in business law and ehtics to graduate and undergraduate students at Purdue University. Putman also practices a bit of law, focusing on happy law aka adoptions. She lives with her husband, four children, a perfect cat, and a sweet yet rambunctious shelter puppy in Indiana.
