I can still eat the things I love while losing weight and getting into better shape. I have an insatiable sweet tooth and a love affair with anything bready. But like bad boyfriends, I love those things but they do not love me back.
Plus, frankly, in the past I’ve used the sweets and the gluten-laden breads as rewards. Even as crutches when I’m stressed. Eating Keto (LCGF) has freed me from that cycle and has literally lightened my load by 20+ lbs.
Here are some of my favorite go tos that are always baked and close at hand in my kitchen:
Don’t be fooled. There’s not a speck of oatmeal in those little puppies above but they are to die for. Especially warm from the oven. Same for the Chocolate-stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies. The texture is perfect!

And to top off a sweet low carb gluten free post, I’m giving away a copy of my newest book A Note Yet Unsung to one winner who posts a comment on THIS post by 8PM Central tonight. I’ll come back tonight at 9PM and announce the winner—and to see what some of your favorite “go to” foods are!
What are some foods (sweet or savory) that can usually be found in your kitchen? For me it’s these listed above, along with oven-baked bacon. Be still my heart. Oh! and these LCGF Cream Cheese Pancakes that are really more like delicate, delectable, doubly divine little crepes!
Much love to you on this Tuesday,
