    Early in my career, I worked for a small newspaper and collected these kind of headlines. Yours are terrific! One of my favorites (appeared in my newspaper but I didn’t write it): Ladies Clubs Hold Joint Meeting.

    As a girl whose dad worked in the newspaper business all his life, & who worked there myself for a few years before I married, I’ve heard my fair share of funny headlines. I basically grew up with a “proofreader’s eye.” These were great!!! Thanks for sharing!
