A BIG Giveaway (and a great reading list)

Mark your calendars! Lisa Tawn Bergren’s annual fall scavenger hunt starts this Thursday, October 15 at noon through Sunday, October 18, 2020 at midnight, MOUNTAIN time zone. Several of us here at Inspired by Life…and Fiction have books in the offering, including Becky, Robin, Tammy, and me.

Not only is the hunt an opportunity to win some great prizes, but it’s also a great place to add some wonderful new books to your reading lists!

Once the hunt begins on Thursday, simply go to each stop (each web site will link to the next), read about the author and her/his new novel, and collect the scavenger hunt clues as you go!

At the end, you put together all the clues to enter for the grand prizes. But along the way, don’t forget to register for individually-given prizes from that author. Collectively, there will be more than $1500 in prizes given away, including $450 in Amazon gift cards!!! Talk about your good reasons to set some time aside!

Here are the five GRAND PRIZES:
1st Prize: All 30 books, plus $150 Amazon gift card
2nd Prize: All 30 books, plus $100 Amazon gift card
3rd Prize: All 30 books, plus $75 Amazon gift card
4th Prize: $75 Amazon gift card
5th Prize: $50 Amazon gift card

The hunt will begin on Lisa Bergren’s website HERE. (This link may change before the scavenger hunt, but you should be able to find the starting point from Lisa’s blog or from any of the author’s included in the hunt.)

Best of all, you have the entire long weekend to read through the sites, collect the clues, and enter the extra giveaways on many of the individual authors’ posts. Have fun!

Deborah Raney

DEBORAH RANEY's first novel, A Vow to Cherish, inspired the World Wide Pictures film of the same title and launched Deb’s writing career. Forty books later, she's still creating stories that touch hearts and lives. Her novels have won RWA's RITA Award, the ACFW Carol Award, the National Readers Choice Award, and the HOLT Medallion. She is also a three-time Christy Award finalist. Deb is on faculty for several national writers’ conferences and served on the executive board of the 2,500-member American Christian Fiction Writers organization for 18 years before retiring in 2022. She is a recent transplant to Missouri, having moved with her husband, Ken Raney, from their native Kansas to be closer to kids and grandkids. They love road trips, e-biking, Friday garage sale dates, and breakfast on the screened porch overlooking their wooded backyard.
