My fifth and final Chicory Inn novel is out and launched and I’m just a little sad to say goodbye to the Whitman family and the Chicory Inn. I’d like to give the Chicory Inn Novels series a last hurrah here on the blog by giving away an entire set of the books to one of our lovely readers.
I’ll leave you with a “family reunion” photo of the Whitman family as I envisioned them when I wrote them. (If you haven’t read the books yet, keep in mind that there will be a few spoilers if you study the photos too carefully!)

I have read the first four and definitely enjoyed them. Close To Home has been my favorite I think. It was a fine line that Bree walked being part of the family but not at the same time. I look forward to reading the conclusion!
I have not read any but all the covers look amazing! I especially like two roads home, it draws you in and sets up a story line for two people that have wondered down different roads but still found a way back home together. The center tree symbolizes unity for me. Can’t wait to read them and see if I’m close!
I have not read any of these yet, but they are on my TBR list! I want to read the first one the most for a few reasons. First, because it starts out the series and because I like that cover the most, and starting an inn sounds so fun, it seems like a great kick-off to an inn series!
Home at Last was a favorite, would love a SET!
I have not read this series yet. So many of my Goodreads friends have talked about this series and said how much they’ve loved it. This sounds like such a fun series. I enjoy reading series about inns. I would love to start with the first book and read the whole series. I must read a series in order is why I want to start with the first book. I haven’t read this series but sure would like to. My favorite of yours is INSIGHT, which I absolutely LOVED. It was a wonderful book and I couldn’t put it down! I sure would love to have a set of these Chicory Inn books!
Even though I haven’t read this series yet, I look forward to reading them soon. Close To Home reminds me of how I’m living pretty ‘close’ to where I grew up and it feels like home.

Deb, I haven’t read this series yet but what a great teaser. I am drawn to the photos most of all, particularly the twins. I have twin girls and there is something winsome about entering their world. I would have to start at the beginning of the series because I don’t want to miss a thing!! Also, I grew up in a town called, Whitman. So that is enticing too. It all evokes memories.

Home to Chicory Lane is my favorite
Love them all, and know the last will be great, as well. Sad to see it come to an end. The characters become part of us. They really do. Silly maybe, but sometimes when not reading about them, I wonder how they are. Delighted to see the pictures. Thank you, faithful writer. I always know when I have one of your books in hand, the story will not be disappointing, but instead a blessing.
I’ve not read this series but it sounds wonderful. The cover of Close to Home appeals to me the most. Beckoning porch lights are always a draw! I’ve just recently read the Clayburn novels, and enjoyed those, so it would be a pure delight to read these as well!

I just love the big tree and the two chairs facing it, I would love to sit in one of them sipping iced tea and reading a book, I can feel the heat of summer on me as I lose myself in the story….I know if you wrote them they are good!

I like all the covers so I wouldn’t be able to choose that way. I enjoy reading a family series. You learn so much and can relate in many ways to your own family and what you may have gone through or someone else you know. I would choose the first book as I would want to catch everything from the beginning as you meant it in writing it. I haven’t read any. Thank you.

I would love to read Close to Home and Home At Last. The effects of war is devastating and I am always curious about the widows of war and if they remarry. Home At Last because there are not a lot of interracial romances in fiction. I would love to see how you use the issues they will have to deal with and how God applies,

Chose only 1 favorite?! Oh my…That’s a challenge. At first, I would say book 3, “Another Way Home” because of her issue of infertility. But after reading all five, book 5 “Home at Last”is my new favorite. Book 4 in the series sounds the most interesting to me. I’d like to know what happens to Tim’s widow.
My sister became a military widow in 1996, before my nieces 1st birthday. She has never remarried and still enjoys a close relationship with his family after all these years.
