A few weeks ago, I had the novel experience of participating in a Book Festival in Budapest, Hungary.

There, I met readers like Dalma, signed books, took photos, and listened to heartwarming stories (with some translating help).

I also met members of the Hungarian publishing team.

When I first started writing, I never imagined having readers (and a publishing team) in another country like Hungary. While we were there, we also saw some of Budapest’s beautiful sites. I feel so blessed!

How exciting! I have readers in other countries where my books have been translated, but I’ve never visited with them in their countries.
What a wonderful opportunity, Julie! It looks like a wonderful trip and a great chance to meet readers. I had the chance to travel to Germany and the Netherlands many years ago and I still remember those trips and meeting those readers with great joy.
So very cool!!! And Hungary!
What a great experience! My daughter went to Budapest for a work conference a few years ago and fell in love with the city. How fun to meet readers from another country!
That is AMAZING, Julie! What a wonderful opportunity. 🙂
I visited Budapest for the start of a small group tour in August 2019! It’s a beautiful city.
Looks like you had a lovely time meeting readers.
What a fun experience! So happy you had the opportunity to experience this.
