A time to HOPE

October 12, 2017 By Cara Putman

I’m in a season of life where I’m being asked to hope about something I don’t have an abundance of hope for. It’s one of those times, my mind gets to apply what my heart resists. It’s amazing how now I’m seeing messages about hope everywhere I go. Have you ever experienced that?

Need #hope? We all do. @Cara_Putman shares some along with a #giveaway

I find it uncanny how from any and every angle, God whispers His message to me. Sometimes it’s correction, sometimes it’s hope, but it’s always His voice.

HOPE: To trust in, wait for, look for, or desire something or someone; or to expect something beneficial in the future.

No matter what you’re hoping for or waiting on God about, my prayer for you is that you would sense His heart for you and His heartbeat of grace.

One of my journeys of hope-filled faith has been writing. There are so many times God has whispered that He was pleased and encouraged me right when I needed it most. He’s so gracious that way. In fact at ACFW this year, He shared such a whisper of encouragement at a time I was desperately in need of one.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I wish I could give one to each of you, but as a thank you, I’m giving away an ARC of my next novel Imperfect Justice. All you have to do to enter is use the form below. Good luck!

    Cara,
I haven’t gotten a message of hope but of trust. That was the word that I chose to focus on this year. Debbie Macomber always decides on a word each year and so I decided to this year. I have fallen away from it lately I am afraid but recently I have been hearing a message of trust and rest in the Lord. It gives me a sense of peace to think about resting in Him, giving up control. Actually, you mentioned that hope means to trust, look for, wait for…so maybe I am hearing hope as well. Thanks for the post.
