Always Learning…and Writing

January 27, 2026 By Julie Klassen

I wanted to make sure you’ve all heard of the upcoming Going Deeper Conference, created for authors to improve their craft and better tackle those (dreaded) marketing tasks. I attended two years ago and it truly was a super-valuable conference at a super-affordable price. (And no, I’m not getting any kickbacks for this! 🙂 ) Misty Beller’s workshops alone are worth the price!

If you are a writer, I hope you will consider joining us April 23-25, 2026 in Rochester, MN. (Or if you’re a reader who knows a writer, please pass along this information!) All the details at goingdeeperconference.com

I’ll be there, co-teaching a class with Michelle Griep called “Writing swoon-worthy romance that doesn’t cross the line,” but check out this entire lineup of classes. It’s truly a worthwhile time and I’m excited to take part again.

You don’t have to be a professional author to attend; you just need to be serious about your writing. I hope some of my author-friends here will join us. Register this week before the discount expires!

I wanted to attend this conference so badly, but it comes over the weekend of my granddaughter’s birthday, and she is still young enough that I don’t want to miss these moments with her. Maybe one of these days I’ll make it there!

I wish I lived closer. There’s a lot of amazing talent in that group. I know you all will have an amazing time!
