And How Do I Really Feel About Deadlines?

May 25, 2016 By Robin Lee Hatcher

Let’s just say that deadlines keep me writing, but I also think they might kill me before I reach the end.

My work in progress (an April 2017 release) is due to my editor in a couple of days and I’ve got lots of writing left to do. So you know what that means. It means you are getting a very quick, very short post, focusing on a couple of my books I want you to know about.

Kiss The Bride

If you loved the books in my Kings Meadow Romance series but missed I Hope You Dance because it was ebook-only when it released last summer, now is your chance to read it. I Hope You Dance is one of the three novellas included in Kiss the Bride, available for preorder now and releasing next Tuesday, May 31st (in print and in ebook formats).

If you are on Goodreads (one of my favorite social media sites as a reader), don’t miss the chance to win a copy of Kiss the Bride. My publisher is doing a giveaway (ten copies) that begins on May 27th. So mark your calendar for this Friday and then follow this link to the Goodreads giveaway.

The Shepherd's Voice

And if you have a Kindle or the Kindle app, now is your chance to read my RITA Award winning novel, The Shepherd’s Voice, for just 99 cents. The countdown deal (meaning the price rises in increments back to its regular price) begins at 6:00 AM Eastern on Wednesday, May 25th. Eighty-three percent of Amazon reviews give THE SHEPHERD’S VOICE 5 stars, and a total of 98% of the reviews are either 4 or 5 stars.

I have great affection for this novel. It is set during the Great Depression and has, I believe, my favorite opening line from any of my novels. And I learned so many lessons during the writing of this book. So if you haven’t read it, I hope you will. (Sorry, it is unavailable in print or for other ebook readers at this time.)

Happy reading, friends. See you in June!
