Have you heard about Goodreads’ latest feature? It’s called Ask the Author, and you can find it on participating Goodreads Author pages.
It is fairly new and still being rolled out. An author has to sign up to participate, so you may not find it on all of your favorite authors’ pages yet.
Here is the link to my Goodreads page. Just scroll down. You’ll see my profile, then my latest blog post, then a list of some of my books, and finally you’ll see the Ask the Author feature.
I love connecting with readers, and this is just one more way I can do that. So if you are on Goodreads and have a question you’d like to ask me, I’m ready for you.

Nifty information. I just rejoined Good Reads. Forgot my password and let it ride for a year or more. I found it a bit overwhelming — guess I joined too many groups and keeping current on everything was difficult. I’m taking a more laid back approach this time round.
Kav, although I belong to a couple of groups, I don’t get the messages or participate due to time constraints. I use Goodreads mostly to keep track of the books I read and want to read. And I love giving away books through their giveaway program.
I started up with the ask the author program on Goodreads, too, Robin. I love it! I’ve already had several readers leave questions for me. I thought it so smart of Goodreads to add this easy-to-use feature to help spark conversations between reader and author. It’s a great way to interact and for others to benefit in seeing the questions and answers.
I agree, Karen. I think it’s a great addition.
Just started the program. Thanks for the tip, Robin!
Great, Cara.
