Little moments that hold big details

July 20, 2016 By Lenora Worth

We moved recently. Normally, we stay in a home around nine years. Or at least we did once we settled in Louisiana and bought our first starter home. When we outgrew that one, we moved not far away and lived right by some close friends. So close that we had a gate between our fences and constantly moved back and forth during holidays and weekend cookouts. Around that time, I sold my first book and … [Read more...]

Why I broke things off with Louis Vuitton

July 6, 2016 By Lenora Worth

I love shoes and purses. That's a fact. So when I realized I'd be in Las Vegas when I turned sixty last spring, I decided I might just treat myself to a new purse. But not just any purse. A Louie. I've adored Louis Vuitton purses since I was a little girl turning the pages of Glamour and Vogue magazines. I had always dreamed of owning a real Louis Vuitton purse. I just finished writing the last book of a seven book contract. I finished on Monday at around 4:30 PM. The book is due today but I turned it in yesterday at 3:30 PM. Am I happy? Yes. Because over the last three years, in-between and around those seven books, I've moved twice, had health issues, traveled extensively and also written seven novellas and two continuities. I'm not bragging. I'm … [Read more...]

Be still and Know–Even when you’re on deadline

May 18, 2016 By Lenora Worth

Hello. It's Hump Day. Since I'm on a tight deadline and I need the words to pour through me in record time, I'll let my pictures do the talking. Prayer on that deadline need would be greatly appreciated. But even with a deadline looming, I have to take my own advice. I need to be still and know God will see me through. In the meantime, I thought I'd share some recent pictures I've taken in some of … [Read more...]
