Cover Replications

May 7, 2020 By Karen Witemeyer

Book covers are fun pieces of art, but they can also serve as artistic inspiration. Over the weekend, I challenged my FB group, The Posse, to try their hand at replicating one or more of my covers. It seemed like a fun idea, especially for those who are still sheltering at home. The response was wonderful! Readers are such creative people. I just had to share the fun results with you. Reading Therapy to Relieve Pandemic Stress

April 16, 2020 By Karen Witemeyer

I've been blessed to have a job that still keeps me working 8-5 during the pandemic (not the writing gig, but that's going, too - ha!), so I have not had as much home at time as some. However, the true culprit is Uncertainty. For instance, I have … [Read more...]

Dr. Seuss’s Birthday

March 5, 2020 By Karen Witemeyer

This week marks the birth of a literary legend. Theodor Seuss Geisel, more famously known as Dr. Seuss, was born on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. It's hard to imagine a childhood without Dr. Seuss. I vividly recall several of his books being among my childhood favorites. Those catchy rhymes and silly stories. What child wouldn't be captivated? I remember my favorites being One Fish, … [Read more...]
