A New Year and a New Focus

January 5, 2017 By Karen Witemeyer

The New Year is a time to make resolutions, to leave past failures behind and start fresh. It's rather like an author opening a new document and staring at the blank page. Excitement hums, anticipation whirls, and hope-filled ideas swim in the waters of grand dreams and endless possibilities. Yet, amid all that hope and excitement lies a twinge of fear, of uncertainty. Texas Writes – Loving on Libraries

December 15, 2016 By Karen Witemeyer

Besides all the usual things that I am thankful for, I wanted to take a moment to extend a special thank you to readers. Whether you read my books or not, I thank you for being a lover of the … [Read more...]

Taking Time to Dance with Monarchs

November 3, 2016 By Karen Witemeyer

Don't you love that definition? Even though our Declaration of Independence imbues us with the inalienable right to pursue happiness, I think too often we get stuck in the pursuit phase and never sit down to enjoy the blessings our Creator surrounds us with every day. If I just get this new job, I'll be happy. If I just hit the bestseller list, I'll be happy. If my ill child will get … [Read more...]
