Book Settings – The Inexpensive Travel Agency

September 5, 2024 By Karen Witemeyer

Every year I host a Reading Challenge in my Posse group on Facebook where each month hosts a different theme. Some themes center around the covers, some on the authors, but I do my best to include at least one theme each year that centers on settings. One of my favorite things about reading is having a story transport me to another place and time. To experience the culture of the characters and … [Read more...]

Footwear Fun!

August 15, 2024 By Karen Witemeyer

We stayed in a lovely little cabin tucked into the woods. So quiet, peaceful, and wonderful shade with a breeze to cut back the … [Read more...]

A Mustang Tradition

July 4, 2024 By Karen Witemeyer

. Happy 4th of July!!! The holiday for family barbeques and thanking God for the country we live in. Last week, we traveled to the Oklahoma City area to deliver my youngest son to the Air Traffic Control Training Center they have there. Peter will be training to be an in-route ATC for the next three months. It felt a bit like we were dropping him off at college, even though he's already … [Read more...]
