The Wild West Lives On

July 16, 2015 By Karen Witemeyer

About this time last year, I was down in San Antonio, Texas for the Romance Writers of America national convention. I don't attend every year, but since it was in Texas, I stole my husband away with me for a little mini-vacation. This was the first time my hubby tagged along at one of these conferences, so he and I had a lot of fun exploring in the evenings. The River Walk was gorgeous, of course, … [Read more...]

I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends

July 2, 2015 By Karen Witemeyer

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to participate in a multi-author book signing in Fort Worth, TX. I usually only do one book signing a year, by myself, at my local Christian store in Abilene. And when my editor asked if I wanted some behind the scenes candids she took during the photo shoot for A Worthy Pursuit, I jumped at the chance. It was even more fun to learn the story behind the models selected for the cover. … [Read more...]

A Crazy Romp at RT in Dallas

May 21, 2015 By Karen Witemeyer

Last week, I had the privilege of attending the RT Booklovers Convention in Dallas. This was my first year to attend, and it was so fun to be surrounded by an entire hotel full of romance readers and fans. We had a great contingent of Inspirational authors this year, led by our own Tammy Alexander. Tammy kept us organized and on task, and helped us shine our light at a convention dominated by … [Read more...]
