Missing Daddy, Missing Pieces

June 22, 2016 By Robin Lee Hatcher

Daddlyless Daughters

Last Sunday, we celebrated Father's Day in the USA. I never got to celebrate a Father's Day with my own dad, not counting when I was an infant of about five or six weeks old. I was reminded on Sunday of a paper I wrote for my college English class back in 2014. I decided I would like to share it with you. I had to edit it as it was too long for a blog post, but I hope you'll enjoy what … [Read more...]

Bible Art Journaling Update

June 8, 2016 By Robin Lee Hatcher

Earlier this year, I shared a post on Inspired by Life and Fiction about a new passion of mine—Bible art journaling. As I stared in the mirror Tuesday morning, I wondered how it was that my mom was so old at this same age while I am so young. I wish she were alive so we could laugh about that together. But I imagine she's going to look at me when I … [Read more...]

Movies for the Romantic at Heart

April 27, 2016 By Robin Lee Hatcher

My Wednesday came around before I was ready for it. Isn't that how life goes? So, mind full of my work-in-progress, I'm going for one of my next favorite things besides books: Movies. I love romantic movies. I love that ahhhh feeling when all things turn out the way they were meant to at the end of the film. I even love shedding a few tears during the movie and/or at the end. I have lots … [Read more...]
