Bible Art Journaling Update

June 8, 2016 By Robin Lee Hatcher

FLIP-THROUGH

Earlier this year, I shared a post on Inspired by Life and Fiction about a new passion of mine—Bible art journaling. This practice has served to meld my love of studying the written word of God with the creativity He blessed me with. Plus it has plugged me into a community of thousands of believers around the world who enjoy worshiping God in this artistic way.

If you are unsure what I am talking about, you can check out a couple of my blog posts on the subject:

What is Bible Art Journaling?

Six Weeks of Bible Art Journaling

Below is a video I made, showing the art journaling I completed in my first six weeks after receiving my Inspire Bible for Creative Journaling.

And if all of that isn’t enough, you can check out my art journaling on my Instagram page.

I hope this will inspire you to use your own creativity as you worship Him. And don’t use that horrid phrase: “I don’t have a creative bone in my body.” We are all creative, whether or not we acknowledge it, because we are all made in the image of our Creator.

I’ve only colored three pictures in my journaling Bible. I do enjoy it when I get to it, but it’s not been the draw I thought it would be. Still, I haven’t totally given up. But I did enjoy your video and seeing how creative you’ve been with Bible journaling!

Thanks, Deb. The coloring wasn’t enough for me. I had to jump in and try more.
