This week I’m celebrating the book birthday of A Worthy Rebel! This is 5th and final book in my medieval YA romance series.
It’s with great elation I send this book out into the world, knowing that this story is the grand finale of the Noble Knights series that started several years ago with An Uncertain Choice (2015), A Daring Sacrifice (2016), For Love & Honor (2017), and A Loyal Heart (March, 2018).
*As a side note, For Love & Honor is up for a Carol Award this month in Nashville at the ACFW conference! I’m honored that it’s one of three finalists in the Young Adult category!
But as with every ending, I’m also a little sad to see this series come to a close. Each book has been such a blast to write. I’ve loved the rugged knights and daring damsels that have come to life and become my friends. I’ve loved delving into the medieval era with all of its intrigue and danger. And I’ve loved being able to write chivalrous love stories that can appeal to a broad range of ages from youth to adults.
Because I’ve enjoyed writing this medieval series so much, a brand new medieval series is in the works and is slated for release next fall! I can’t wait until I can share more information about this exciting and adventurous new series!
In the meantime, I hope you’ll catch up on any of the books that you’ve missed in the Noble Knights series, especially the newest book A Worthy Rebel! Don’t worry—the books are all stand-alones. But if you do like reading books in order, then you can read them all NOW without any waiting!

And this summer my early-20’s daughter borrowed my copy of Together Forever and completely loved it!

I really enjoyed “No One Ever Asked,” by Katie Ganshert because it was so thought-provoking. I also read the whole “Color of…” series by Julianne MacLean and enjoyed both that and her newest book, “A Curve in the Road.” Way too many other books to list!
Oh, I have already read several wonderful novels this year – The Hidden Side by Heidi Chiavaroli, A Refuge Assured by Jocelyn Green, A Light on the Hill by Conni Cossette, and The Lacemaker by Laura Frantz to name a few.

I’ve read a lot of Agatha Christie. I also read Billy Graham’s autobiography. What an amazing man of God! One of my faves was Sons of Blackbird Mountain by Joanne Bidchoff. Great book!
My favorite has been Words in Deep Blue by Cath Crowley. It is a great picture of loss and life, the things we leave behind and the things that change. This really resonated with me as I read it close to the anniversary of my brother’s death.

There have been so many good books this year! I really enjoyed Sons of Blackbird Mountain by Joanne Bischof. I also really liked The Heart Between Us by Lindsay Harrel. There are so many I can’t think of them all!
One of my favorite books this year was Leepike Ridge (N.D. Wilson) – I already love this author, but I’d never gotten the chance to read his first novel. I loved the depth of the world he created for even a very short book! Overall a great read!
I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of The Worthy Rebel soon, so I can embark on your adventure!

My favorite non-fiction read this year has been “Almost Already” by Jonathan Tony. I have quite a list of fiction books I’ve enjoyed, including a reread of Sharon Hinck’s Sword of Lyric series. Also the newest releases from Becky Wade, Karen Witemeyer, and Elizabeth Camden. It’s been a great year for books! 🙂
This series has been so fun to read. I’m glad to hear you’ll be doing more like it. I’ve enjoyed many good reads from my favorite authors this year, but one that sticks out is Impossible Saints by Clarissa Harwood. I checked it out from the library because I liked the cover. Sometimes it pays off to be a little judgmental 😉

My favorites so far are The Best Intentions, Miss Serena’s Secret, How to Walk Away, Finally Accepted, Bread of Angels and Crossing Oceans to name a few.
Some of my favourite reads so far this year include “And the Shofar Blew” by Francine Rivers, as well as her “Sons of Encouragement” Series. I also finally got my hands on the final book of Jody’s Beacons of Hope series, “Never Forget”, and I absolutely loved it!
After years of my mom telling me I should read Francine Rivers I have finally done so. I am in the midst of her lineage of grace series. And I love it. Not only do I love the way she writes but it’s also helped me in my bible reading/studying as well.
Shadows of Hope by Georgiana Daniels was a book I could not get out of my mind! I’ve enjoyed so many–A Blackguard’s Redemption by Ta’Mara Hanscom, Justice Buried by Patricia Bradley, Under Prairie Skies by Cynthia Roemer, Delayed Justice by Cara Putman, The Patriot Bride by Kimberly Woodhouse, A Place to Belong by Melissa Tagg, Restoring Faith by Marion Ueckermann, This Freedom Journey by Misty Beller, Light My Fire and Where There’s Smoke by Susan May Warren.

My most favorite book that I’ve read this year is the Bible! I loved The Amish Cooking Class Series by Wanda Brunstetter. I’ve read almost 100 books so far this year. I love the suspense ones, historical fiction and the Amish ones.
LOL, i just scrolled through the books I’ve read this year and I think almost every one I’d say, “Ohhhhh, that one was it, oh no this one”, on and on it went, so many I can’t list them all.

I loved Things I Never Told You by Beth Vogt!!!!
I’ve read a few this year that I’ve really enjoyed. Kristin Billerbeck’s The Theory of Happily Ever After, Carla Laureano’s The Saturday Night Supper Club, and Carolyn Miller’s Miss Serena’s Secret. I highly recommend all three.
