In January 2021, I started what I thought would be a short lived experiment. I missed my writing friends and decided to host a handful of Facebook lives where I could reconnect with some. I’ve had so much fun chatting with authors like Bethany Turner and Becky Wade. Katherine Reay and Sarah Sundin. Rachel McMillan and Toni Shiloh. Rachel Hauck and Robin Lee Hatcher. Tamera Alexander and Pepper Basham. There are literally so many if I listed them all this would be a very long blog post, but you can find all of them here.
There are 48 episodes out as the Book Talk podcast, with another four or five ready to release in the next month. I truly never had any idea that I would host ten let alone fifty.
I’d love to have you join me live on Monday nights on my Facebook page. The conversation begins at 8:30 PM EST, and it’s so much fun when readers join the conversation. I have enjoyed so many of these! I do have some I need to catch up on though. It’s been great to get an introduction to some new authors and fun to catch up with some favorites. Some ideas: Amanda Wen, Lindsay Harrel, Janyre Tromp, Katie Powner, Grace Hitchcock, Danielle Grandinetti, Sarah Ladd (I’m trying to think back to who all you’ve had on already). You always do a great job keeping the conversation going (but not too long). I’m curious to know what helps an author when they feel like they’re stuck or that the story isn’t doing what they would like it to do. What helps when they’re frustrated and discouraged.

I’ve really enjoyed the talks to which I’ve listened. Since I work on Monday evenings and then race home to fix dinner for my hubby and me, I listen after the live event.
