The last week and a half have been exciting at our house. Our 13 year-old started full time at the high school. He’s my first full time, outside the home student. My 16 year-old and I have been finishing her college applications. Gulp! She’s taking the SAT Saturday and would appreciate any prayers for peace and wisdom. Then it’s school time with our youngest two, and I started teaching again this week at Purdue along with writing. It’s zany! Good thing I love our life. 🙂
Today I thought I’d do something a little different.
I love writing. And I adore reading…it’s not as much work as writing. Today I thought I’d share some fun reading quotes and images. Feel free to post these wherever you like. 🙂 Consider these my gift to you!

Love all of these. So true!
Hope your children have great school years!
My grandchildren start back soon – a third grader in California next week and a fifth grader in Virginia after Labor Day. As a retired teacher, I am always interested in their education.

Loved all of your quotes; would be hard pressed to choose a favorite. With your busy life and that of your family’s, I’m amazed you find time to write, but am sure you make/find the time however and whenever you can.

Thank you! I did save the quote about children reading in the laps of their parents. I just vacationed with our daughter and grandson and I loved watching her read to him several times a day. I plan to share your beautiful quote with her.
