The Things That Last

April 7, 2023 By Robin Lee Hatcher

What Lasts

As a Christian novelist, I believe that I need to be steeped in God’s word if I am to have anything of value to offer the readers of my books. My desire for every book I write is that it will (1) entertain the reader while (2) drawing them one step closer to Jesus. “The grass withers, the flower fades,But the word of our God stands forever.”(Isaiah 40:8, NASB95) Since 1997, I have made it a … [Read more...]

Are you listening?

March 7, 2023 By Tamera Alexander

I love to read books but I also love listening to them, and I always have at least 3-4 books I'm listening to at once. Customarily, it's three or four non-fiction books and at least one or two novels, which is the case at the moment. The following are books I've either recently finished or am currently listening to. Unbelievably, I gave birth to two daughters who were quite content to sleep until a reasonable hour, even on Christmas Day. Do you know what I did as a young mom? Starting about 2:00 or 3:00 AM, I would be up, closing … [Read more...]

Refreshment for the soul

February 7, 2023 By Tamera Alexander

God is so faithful to give us what we need exactly when we need it—including moments of refreshment and rejuvenation. He's given me so many in recent weeks, along with such incredible joy in his Word! I hope these moments will refresh you too. And get ready! Because, in turn, I'd love to know what's been refreshing your soul. First is KRISTI MCLELLAND'S message at church last Sunday … [Read more...]
