Hello, February!

February 4, 2026 By D'Ann Mateer

I love February for so many reasons.  1. It’s my birthday month! Yay! Not only does it mean celebrating with friends and family, it also means several birthday perks from my favorite stores. Did you know some loyalty programs give you a discount or even an amount of money off a purchase in your birthday month? Check out stores like Kohl’s, Belk, Talbots, Pottery Barn/William-Sonoma, DSW, … [Read more...]

Fort Worth Rodeo

January 21, 2026 By D'Ann Mateer

And frankly, I love a slower paced January after two months worth of holiday activities. I want to hunker down in my house, preferably in front of a fire, if the weather cooperates. I like time to organize, time to read. Time to gear up for spring, which is generally a busy … [Read more...]

Happy New Year!

January 6, 2026 By Tamera Alexander

Happy New Year, friends! I hope your holidays were wonderful and that you're ready for 2026. But ready or not, here we are! I'm one of those who puts up the tree and decorations pretty quickly after Christmas (of course, I start putting everything up in mid-October), and I love getting back into routine and normalcy. This year especially, I welcome the start of a new year. Here are some … [Read more...]
