How to Achieve an Empty Inbox With Emails & Life

July 15, 2016 By Jody Hedlund

This past week it dawned on me that I had a huge email problem. I realized that every day I was having to spend valuable time weeding through dozens of emails from retailers, magazines, radios, conferences, etc. Even deleting them or marking them as spam was taking time. Time I wanted to protect. Some of them were good places that I’d subscribed to—for example Twitter notifications and even … [Read more...]

What I’ve Been Up to This Summer!

July 1, 2016 By Jody Hedlund

Hi Friends! Like most of you, I have a busy 4th of July weekend. I’ll be hanging out with friends at a barbecue and watching fireworks. I had to edit it as it was too long for a blog post, but I hope you'll enjoy what … [Read more...]

(He’s determined to look good in the Mr. Darcy costume I’m buying for him to wear during the Jane Austen … [Read more...]

Finding Beauty in Unexpected Places

May 12, 2016 By Cara Putman

Last weekend I went out to our patio and found a fun surprise sprouting and blooming in the very narrow sand lines between the bricks. Interspersed intermittently all along the bricks were these tiny, tenacious pansies. I'm not really sure where they came from, but as I pulled the weeds last night, I left these little beauties. Part of me wanted to know as I absorbed their beauty what had given … [Read more...]
