Thankful for Readers! (And a giveaway)

November 17, 2016 By Karen Witemeyer

One week from today, I'll be at my mom's house, surrounded by family, enjoying turkey, dressing, candied yams, cranberry sauce, and all the other wonderful dinner trimmings that go along with Thanksgiving. Besides all the usual things that I am thankful for, I wanted to take a moment to extend a special thank you to readers. Whether you read my books or not, I thank you for being a lover of the … [Read more...]

The building of a table–board by board

November 16, 2016 By Lenora Worth

Hello! Thanksgiving is next week and I'm ready to celebrate. We won't have a large crowd. Our daughter and husband are in Japan. (Air Force) And our son is at college and probably won't make it here until Christmas. So it might be just the two of us. Happy November! Starts and Finishes!

November 2, 2016 By Lenora Worth

Hello. I can't believe it's November! My summer and early fall went so fast! I just finished working on a book yesterday, over a month ahead of schedule. Especially when you start with a blank page and create it with a lot of sweat and tears and joys and cheers. The End Yes, I did a … [Read more...]

Finding Our Communities

October 27, 2016 By Cara Putman

Last weekend, my family and I did one of those crazy road trips. We left Indiana at 10:30 in the morning and drove all day to Lincoln, Nebraska. There we spent time with family all with the excuse of a football game pulling us to town. Then Sunday morning the kids and I drove back while Eric stayed for work. Crazy. You can call us that. Surely at some point in time you've done something … [Read more...]

Rested and refreshed

October 4, 2016 By Tamera Alexander

What's the last vacation you've taken? Me? Hilton Head Island in South Carolina—last week! Joe, Murphy, Kelsey, me, Kurt We love HHI and usually end up visiting there every 2-3 years or so. I love the beach. Only, I like it best in fall and winter. Strange, maybe. But since I've never been a sun goddess (I'm more the burn and peel variety), I love walking the beach instead of laying out. … [Read more...]
