True Love = Waterfalls

September 15, 2016 By Karen Witemeyer

Every so often, my husband surprises me with a romantic gesture that steals my heart. He's a clever fellow, so he saves them up and only disperses them on rare occasions, ensuring that I will always be surprised and wowed because he has gone above and beyond. This time he surprised me with a special two day getaway tacked on to the end of the ACFW conference in Nashville. I flew one-way to … [Read more...]

Recipes–I have a few

September 7, 2016 By Lenora Worth

I've been thinking about cooking all week. That's because my husband and I both wound up sick with wicked colds when we got home from ACFW. He actually had it bad when we left but he still insisted on driving me there. He rested in our room between outings to museums (where the air-conditioning was nice). I Love the Fair!

August 24, 2016 By Robin Lee Hatcher

While I’m definitely not an Olympic athlete, I’ve always told myself, “If I want to accomplish something, then I’ll do what it takes to make that happen.”  In fact, in all my years of writing, I … [Read more...]

Escape to Italy

August 11, 2016 By Cara Putman

This summer our family had the adventure of a lifetime. We got to explore Italy for a month while I taught in a study abroad program. It was an absolute delight and dream come true. I realized I hadn't shared many photos with y'all yet, so here goes. We lived in Siena for a month with day trips to Florence and Pisa. We also spent three days in Rome. It was a whirlwind, but a dream come true … [Read more...]
