Turning the Page

June 14, 2016 By Julie Klassen

Several pages being turned and new chapters beginning here in the Klassen household lately. For example, last week I heard my husband murmur, “Time to turn the page,” referring to some changes he’s been making in his diet and exercise routine to improve his health and his physique. (He’s determined to look good in the Mr. Darcy costume I’m buying for him to wear during the Jane Austen … [Read more...]

Finding Beauty in Unexpected Places

May 12, 2016 By Cara Putman

Greenfield Village is a huge outdoor museum spread across more than 80 acres that has a plethora of authentic historic structures. And it was a gorgeous spring day, which made the excursion all the more enjoyable. Henry Ford's Greenfield … [Read more...]

And the Two Shall Become One

April 13, 2016 By Robin Lee Hatcher

Last weekend, my oldest granddaughter got married. We had incredible weather. 82 degrees and sunny on the 9th of April in southwest Idaho. Amazing. And perfect because the bride and her attendants arrived in a horse drawn wagon and the couple departed in the same. The ceremony and reception took place in a barn that is used for community events, which meant no heating or air conditioning. It was … [Read more...]
