Bookish Goodies Under the Tree

January 2, 2025 By Karen Witemeyer

Did any of you get books or book-themed items under the tree this year? I ended up with a great assortment of fun, bookish gifts. Some snippets from Thanksgiving, thanks to a video my daughter made. (Thanks, babe!) I hope you all had a wonderful time being grateful with (and for) family and friends, too, and that the depth of blessings in your life took your … [Read more...]

November 21, 2024 By Karen Witemeyer

Last Saturday my youngest son married his high school sweetheart. The Lord blessed us with beautiful weather for the outdoor venue. November in Texas can provide anything from summer heat to rain storms to snow and ice, but the day was absolutely perfect! As a hope-filled romantic, I loved every minute of the day, despite the exhaustion and stress. Nothing makes a parent happier than seeing … [Read more...]
