The Merry Month of May

May 1, 2024 By D'Ann Mateer

It’s May, y’all. And you know what that means? Sooooo many gifts to buy! End-of-year- teacher gifts, Mother’s Day, graduations, weddings, babies—all the things. So I thought I’d share with you some of my favorite bookish gifts since, in my opinion, bookish gifts are suitable for all occasions!  Bookish tea towels—great for Mother’s Day, weddings, teachers, or a hostess gift! … [Read more...]

Glimpses from recent life

April 16, 2024 By Tamera Alexander

In no certain order, here are glimpses from recent life. Both the good and bad, LOL... Well, he's finally doing it. Our little Leo is walking! It's still that drunken sailor sort of gait, but we'll take it. Naturally, he's into everything—and has also taken several falls. All part of learning to walk. But it's such a sweet time. Meanwhile little sister Ari is still getting adjusted to her new world and is a precious little bundle of snuggles. And spit up. : ) I just love … [Read more...]

Alexander Family Addition

February 6, 2024 By Tamera Alexander

On January 19, the Alexander family grew by one more very little precious one. Meet Ari Rose, our first granddaughter. . . Ari (pronounced Ari as in "safari") is little sister to Leo who is 13 months and a “chonk” as we call him… As we tell Kurt and Kellie, Ari and Leo's parents, they make cute kids! ;) Leo is the spitting image of Kurt as a baby, and Ari looks just like Kellie. … [Read more...]
