Hairstyles of the 1890’s and a Giveaway!

August 16, 2018 By Karen Witemeyer

When I was a little girl dreaming of fairy tale romance I always pictured myself in a long dress with my hair styled in a fancy updo. That's part of the reason I was drawn to historical stories. All the dresses and fancy hairstyles! It was the church I grew up in, too. It was such an incredible blessing to be there.   Kurt and Dad that Saturday   The church had such a wonderful celebration that … [Read more...]

May 1, 2018 By Tamera Alexander

Do you love reading real love stories? Me too! I'm currently heavy into rewrites on With This Pledge—the first full length Carnton novel that hits the shelves in December—and my editor's comments and suggestions are really challenging me (in a great way) to take this story to a deeper level. Captain Roland Ward Jones and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Clouston truly lived—and fell in love—at … [Read more...]
