A Lesson From Butterflies

March 5, 2026 By Karen Witemeyer 7 Comments

This week, I am teaching and giving a keynote address at a brand new conference for Christian writers based in Texas. The hearts of the organizers for ministering to Christian writers are so beautiful and inspiring. It's a small, intimate conference, but I feel that God is moving here, and I'm thrilled to play a part. The conference is being held at a lovely Christian retreat center in … [Read more...]

Fall Fun & Goodies for You

November 20, 2025 By Karen Witemeyer

We don't get to see many fall colors in West Texas, where I live. So when my hubby and I traveled to Missouri at the start of this month, we soaked in as many fall colors as we could. The highways showed off their deep red vegetation and patchwork trees. So beautiful! Our bluebonnets come later in the spring and are harder to find, but you'll hear me cry, "Bluebonnets!" and point out the car window whenever I happen to drive past a patch. In fact, last week I did precisely that when in the car with my … [Read more...]

A trip with the grands to the pumpkin patch

November 19, 2024 By Tamera Alexander

The 3FarmGals (the name of the text thread that includes my daughter, my daughter-in-law, and me—story on that name below) took my two sweet grands to the pumpkin patch recently, and my daughter Kelsey made a quick video... That I may have already watched 247 times. 👀 If I haven't said it lately, I ADORE being Gram Tam to Leo and Ari. It's one of the biggest joys of my … [Read more...]
