Fall in its Images

October 14, 2021 By Cara Putman

It's taken awhile, but it's finally beginning to feel like fall in Indiana. I love the transition from the heat of summer into the crisp air and chilled temperatures. There's something satisfying about sliding in the third of four seasons. In the last two weeks, I've had two novellas release. Dangerous Pursuits released on the 12th, and is a collection of 15 novellas by a host of top romantic … [Read more...]

Fall Flowers and Novella Samplers

September 23, 2021 By Cara Putman

Yesterday the calendar flipped to Fall. The equinox where the day is balanced between day and night. Summer and Winter. Over the weekend it was 90 degrees here in Indiana. Today I need a jacket. On Valentine's Day, Sunday, we received 14.3 inches of snow. That smashed the single day snowfall record for our town of Abilene, TX. The previous record had been a whopping 9.6 inches. The snow is beautiful. Such a rare sight is a treat to … [Read more...]

Autumn Excitement

September 16, 2020 By D'Ann Mateer

In Texas, we usually get a tease of fall in September before summer blazes back for one more go. This year, the tease is going on two weeks now. Highs in the mid-80s to low 90s, nights in the mid-60s to high 70s. I know those are summer temperatures to some folks, but it is a great reprieve from a summer of well into the 100s. The cooler mornings have me thinking of the things I get most … [Read more...]
