A Brand New Series

August 6, 2021 By Jody Hedlund

Whew! This week I wrapped up my editing on a brand new medieval series, Knights of Brethren. This is a six-book series, and the first two books release later this year. After the past month of intensive editing (I just love my editor!), now books 1 & 2 are with the proofer (and I love my proofer too!). After proofing, the books will head out to a select group of awesome first readers (who … [Read more...]

An Amazing Weekend

August 5, 2021 By Karen Witemeyer

This last weekend, I took my first writing-rated trip since before COVID hit, and it was a weekend worth waiting for even if it started with a delayed flight and ended with a cancelled one. August 3, 2021 By Tamera Alexander

Late last night I returned from my 18th annual writers retreat in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho where, each July, I meet with ten other women to plot, to play, and to pray. With all the responsibilities of adulthood, I find I don't have as much time to read as I would like, so I compensate by surrounding myself with other bookish delights. I collect Willow Tree figurines, … [Read more...]

Top Summer Picks

July 14, 2021 By Dani Pettrey

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE to travel. In fact, we’re heading today down to the Outer Banks for ten wonderful days of sun, sand, family, and reading. I can’t wait! It’ll be my first vacation since I signed the contract for my debut novel nearly a decade ago, that I’ve taken a vacation off. Normally, I’m up early, writing before my family wakes for the day. Then I’ll write while we’re … [Read more...]
