I have a new book releasing on July 8th. It’s a Christmas novel called To Fall in Love at Christmas, and it’s part of my The British Are Coming series set in Idaho in the late 1800s. In fact, it is the last book of the series. I kept waiting for another character to raise their hand and say, “Pick me! Pick me!” But no one did, so I am now writing the first book in a new series. More about it to follow in a few months.

Truman Blankenship was introduced to readers in To Marry an English Lord. At the time, it wasn’t planned to give this young pastor of Gibeon Chapel a story of his own. But it soon became obvious that he needed the right woman to walk beside him in life and minister with him in his calling. But who would she be?

Stern and all-business, Alice McPherson, a Scottish-Canadian nurse, definitely does not look like the right woman. She is a stranger to joy while Truman is filled with the joy of the Lord. Especially during the Christmas season.

So for my Inspired by Life . . . and Fiction giveaway, I decided to send one lucky US reader three of my Christmas novels available in paperbacks: Bundle of Joy, Wishing for Mistletoe, and To Fall in Love at Christmas (US addresses only). If someone living outside the US should win, they will receive ebook copies via BookFunnel of my novellas: A Carol for Christmas, A Cloud Mountain Christmas, and A Christmas Angel. (I am unable to send the novels as they are in Kindle Unlimited, and the KDP rules do not allow me to give the ebooks away via BookFunnel. My novellas are not in KU.)

While you’re leaving that comment, tell me if you’ve read any of The Coming to America series books (correction, that is linking to The British Are Coming series, which was what I meant to ask about; no harm, no foul for those who already answered!), and if so, who is your favorite character. And if you haven’t read any, it won’t count against you, but I sure hope you’ll read them soon.

    My name is Tammi T. I live in the USA. I have read several of your novels, but I don’t believe any of them have been from the Coming to America series. That will need to be corrected, especially in The British Are Coming to America series. Truman Blankenship seems like a character I need to meet so I’ll try to find a copy of To Marry an English Lord so that I’m introduced to him before To Fall in Love at Christmas is released. I’m excited to learn how Truman and Alice meet and how the joy-filled Truman effects the “all-business” nurse who is a “stranger to joy”.

I love both Keely and William and feel they are such strong characters. It was a joy to read how their relationship developed. I plan to read the other books that I have.
