Thank you, Becky, for letting me hijack your scheduled day! I hope all our American readers had a lovely Thanksgiving, and for everyone else, let’s all celebrate that it’s almost the weekend. Woo hoo!
I’m sure some of you are shopping today. I try to avoid stores on Black Friday whenever possible. Crowds and I don’t do well together, and I’m the worst at standing in a long line. On the few occasions I’ve attempted to shop on Black Friday, I’ve tucked a can of Coke and candy bars in my purse. Trust me, these emergency snacks are the only way I can get through shopping!
Whether you leave the house this weekend or not, you should take a little break. Indulge in some me-time. Grab your favorite hot beverage and a cookie or two and just relax. I love Vince Guaraldi’s music, so I will be playing “O Tannenbaum” as I chill out.
To help you get into the cozy Christmas mood, I’m offering a giveaway! My new Christian contemporary romance, Yuletide Redemption, released this week with Love Inspired. It’s my first Christmas book, and I adore the cover.
Christmas books always make me want to curl up with a soft blanket, sip hot cocoa, and sigh in contentment. I can’t give you a blanket, but I found the softest socks to include in the giveaway. They’re one-size fits all, and they’re super comfy. British symbols on candy tins always find a way into my home, so I’m including these yummy cherry drops. And isn’t the mini-tote bag adorable?
