A large print publisher recently purchased the rights to my most recent release, Stay with Me.
The book of mine that has been given the most covers is My Stubborn Heart.
Even though some of these covers are favorites and some are not-so-favorites, I’m grateful for each one. The creation of new editions of a story is always a good thing!
Before I go, I wanted to tell you about a giveaway…. I don’t have a book included, but I am one of the authors who started a new group for Christian and sweet romance readers. I have always loved that wedding dress on your novella cover. I think all the different covers for Love in the Details are lovely as well.
I notice that the new print edition has changed one of the stories from the original.
Actually, two of the stories have changed from the original. 🙂 Katie wrote two stories for the Year of Weddings series. To Have and To Hold included her second story. Say I Do includes her first.
I agree — I think both collections have wonderful covers. I’m a fan of the pretty shades of blue and I always gravitate toward covers with wedding dresses. They’re romantic!
“complete with an heirloom that looks nothing like the heirloom described in the novellas” – so those stories don’t take place on the Titanic? Hahaha!

Love in the Details was the first thing I read by you – loved it! I have the e-book single, so the cover in the middle with the beautiful dress is a favorite. I have the paperback of The Christmas Heirloom, first cover, and again it is a favorite – the snow, the coat with the fur.
Might I say I love the quirky way you presented Then Came You, a great lead in to your Bradford Sisters series!

And I had a blast introducing my Bradford series with such an unusual novella. It presented a great writing challenge. 🙂

Fun post, Becky. I’ve always loved your Christmas novella cover, Because of You. I think you e-single cover turned out the best of all of them. The model is gorgeous yet has that down-to-earth look. Her outfit is adorable. The colors are subtly Christmas, and the glowing from the shop window is just so warm and inviting, I want to go in. it reminds me of a Thomas Kinkade painting! 🙂
And it reminds me of a Hallmark Christmas movie! I’m so pleased with how that cover came out, for the reasons you mentioned.

I love the original cover of My Stubborn Heart (although the new cover is beautiful). I like that Kate is fully visible but Matt is partially hidden – I think it really reflects their personalities. It may be my very favorite Becky Wade cover! I also love The Heirloom collection cover – the beautiful red coat with the brooch feels so romantic and a bit timeless. I do love that Sweet Art is in the background on the e-single cover of Because of You – a fun nod to the rest of the series, especially Maddie’s friend Britt.
You’ve picked out great details, Gretchen! I think “timeless” is what the designer was shooting for with that cover.
You’ll have to forgive me, but I am partial to that first cover for “My Stubborn Heart.” It’s still my favorite of your books, and the young man with the marvelous square jaw is Matt.
No forgiveness needed! 😊 It’s hard to top that jawline.
Although my all time favorite book is My Stubborn Heart, I like Stay With Me cover the best.

I read “My Stubborn Heart” (original cover) because of her wistful gaze…and of course…his strong jawline. But I loved it in the end for your sweet story.
Your comment made me smile, Jenny! It wasn’t easy to make sure the story lived up to that jawline.
Stay With Me is my favorite, but I love them all in their own way!
