I love a sale! I know that many of you love them, too. Which is why I thought I’d use today’s post to spread the word about some current deals on my friends’ books and on my own. Whenever a full length novel is priced at $4 or less, that’s a great opportunity to try a new-to-you author, stock up on a title by a favorite author that you may have missed, or purchase a copy for your e-reader to match the print copy already on your shelf.
Here’s the inside scoop:
True to You (by me!) is on sale for 99 cents.
Hometown Girl by Courtney Walsh is on sale for $1.99.
The Trouble With Cowboys by Denise Hunter is on sale for $2.49.
For Love of Liberty by Julie Lessman is on sale for 99 cents.
Love’s Silver Lining by Julie Lessman is on sale for $2.99.
Dear Mr. Knightley by Katherine Reay is on sale for $2.99.
Happy reading!
I’d love to hear about a time when you tried an author because of an ebook sale and ended up falling in love with her books!

My “author find” on ebook was Karen Witemeyer! I had not read anything of hers when my daughter gifted me her old kindle. The title was intriguing, I read Short Straw Bride and fell in love with her books! I think I have just about all of them now – only missing one or two – and she is one of my very favorite authors!

Yay! I just knew that readers would have stories like this to share. I’m so glad that you discovered Karen, Kathy! She’s a terrific writer. 🙂

I really struggle with ebooks, but I did love Carla Laureano’s Saturday Night Supper Club in that format!
Thanks for the heads up on these!

I still prefer print, but I’m warming up to ebooks more and more! My husband is a loyal ebook guy. In fact, he’s actually a publisher/author’s dream reader because he reads fast and will pay full price for ebooks as soon as they release. 🙂

I found Katherine Reay, Melissa Tagg, Kristy Cambron, Julie Lessman, Rachel McMillan… there are probably more but that is just off the top of my head. Now I have to read everything they write! I tend to get ebooks first, then get the print copy (unless it’s one of your books then I just preorder both.) I tried to make a “keeper” shelf but really everything on my bookshelves are keepers. The ebooks take up much less space, though!

A lot less space!

I pulled one of Kara Isaac’s books from KU and fell in love! Now everything she writes is an automatic “Keeper,” just like anything you write, Becky! However I was introduced to your books because I won a grand prize giveaway when True To You was released, so that’s a different story all together!

Clearly, the Lord knew what He was doing when your name was drawn as the winner of that particular giveaway. 😉

I read Melissa Tagg’s Made to Last on Kindle from either a freebie or a sale. Loved it and was hooked. She’s the only other author (besides the awesome Becky Wade) that I have not only read, but own all of her books. I loved meeting her last year.
I believe I also read Paper Hearts by Courtney Walsh purchased from a sale. What a book! ❤️

My friends and family love to borrow my books, so I rarely purchase ebooks. Sometimes when they’re free, though, I download them for a rainy day. Most the time, I find new authors through reading book reviews on blogs.

Liz Isaacson, Brooke St. James are two authors, Amber Lynn Perry, Barbara Gee, Christina Coryell, Kimberly Krey, Misty M. Beller, Sarah Monzon, and Naomi Rawlings, just to name a few!! I absolutely still prefer and treasure print, but the amazing sales to be found on Amazon really are just SO addictive!

Becky, You asked in a recent blog for feedback when a reader tried an author because of an ebook sale and fell in love with the author’s books. Well that is how I learned of you as an author and fell in love with your books. Your book, “Then Came You” was advertised as an ebook. I got it, read it, and then read both of the books in The Bradford Sister series and am eagerly waiting to read the newest book in the series. Not only that but in an email to a long distance friend who is an avid reader, I told her about your books. She had never read any of your books, but after reading my email went to the library and read the Bradford Sister series and is currently reading The Porter Family series and loves your books also. I am looking forward to reading more of your books. +
