  1. I would love to win a copy. I am new to the idea of podcasting so have no favorites to share. I am excited to hear about other recommendations because I think this is the future of getting a message out to our audience. I feel the Lord is leading me in this way.

  3. The cover of To Wager Her Heart draws me in since the main character is peering out the window of a train seeing changing scenes that captivate her. Abundant possibilities present themselves in her view and for her consideration. What an interactive and contemplative tableau!

  7. I have over an hour commute to work and lately, I haven’t been liking the local Christian radio station’s morning show. So I have turned to podcasts. My favorite is That Sounds Fun with Annie F. Downs. She is so fun! I also listen to the Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey. Both of these ladies have mention the NPR podcast How I Built This and I have recently started listening to it, and it’s really good. I also listen to Passion City Church’s sermons on occasion.

  12. Thank you so much for these recommendations – I’m always on the lookout for new podcasts. One of my very favorites for a long time was Mesu Andrews podcast; she has since stopped doing it for now, but it’s still very good! A current favorite is Havilah Cunnington’s podcast – very uplifting and full of spiritual truths.

  18. I don’t listen to any podcasts, but my favorite blog is relzreviewz. Rel has introduced me to so many new Christian books and authors I honestly wonder how I ever found a book by myself before I found her blog. I met Rel at CFRR last year in Nashville and suddenly turned into a 13-year old fangirl at a Justin Bieber concert. Thankfully my enthusiasm didn’t scare her too much 🙂 Getting to meet that fabulous woman in person was beyond thrilling for me.

  21. I don’t watch any podcast, I subscribe to so many author’s blogs as well as getting emails from Goodreads and a few others that send out list of books coming out each month. So I always know what’s coming as far as awesome books! Been waiting for this one for a while! Blessings!

  53. I don’t generally listen to podcasts, but I’ve been encouraged by Wendy Speake and Kelly Stuart’s Life Creative book and posts (encouragement and practical advice for creatives). Thanks for the giveaway!

  54. I’ve never listened to podcasts before, but there are many blogs I follow. Most of them involve book talk as I am an avid reader. I learn about new books coming out or read book reviews . I also receive many author newsletters 🙂 The one I really like for encouragement is Max Lucado. I receive it daily in my email, it always has something I can take out of it everyday. It’s like a daily devotional in addition to my morning Bible reading. I look forward to what God will speak to me that day!

  57. I thoroughly enjoy podcasts and listen to (too) many of them! Most are book-related, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy Phil Vischer’s (creator of Veggie Tales) podcast. It’s pretty zany (how can you be too serious with ukulele music?!?) but I appreciate their discussion of current events and the guest speakers. Tamara, thanks for sharing the podcasts and blogs that encourage you … off to check out Sayable.
