I recently had the awesome experience of working with a launch team for A Beauty So Rare, the second standalone novel in the Belmont Mansion series. And oh, what fun it was!
I’m honored that the nearly 60 bloggers were interested in partnering with me to help get the word out about this novel, and I enjoyed each minute of our chatting and sharing.
As part of the process, I created a private Facebook group where we could post, comment, upload shareable files, etc…
It was so encouraging to see how eager they were to help each other and to promote each other’s blogs. And talk about great blogs! These gals do such a great job of introducing new fiction to their readers with freshness and without spoiling the plot or fictive dream.
One of the launch team’s “calls-to-action” was to share a quote from A Beauty So Rare that stood out to them as they read. And, in true stellar fashion, these bloggers really went above and beyond.
They shared not only their favorite quotes––several of them more than one––but they made Pinterest pins for them. I’m so grateful.
If you’re looking for blogs that give honest, unbiased reviews of Christian fiction, then check out these bloggers. You won’t be disappointed.
And now, a chance for you to share!
Would you grab the novel you’re reading now (or a recent read) and share a sentence that struck a chord with you as you read (careful, no spoilers!)? Or perhaps share a sentence you underlined as you lingered over a passage? (Yes, I underline in my novels, both in print and on my Kindle PaperWhite, don’t you?) : ) Please be sure to include the title of the book and the author.
I’ve often picked up a novel I’ve never heard of before based solely on someone sharing a passage like this. Who knows, you might discover a new read!

Love those quotes from your book, sweet Tammy – – and of course I absolutely LOVED A Beauty So Rare!!! 🙂 Oh my, in my humble opinion this is your best book yet (although each one has been amazing and will remain on my Keeper Shelf).
When reading Lynn Austin’s book, Return To Me, this line toward the end really caught my attention: “Because if we obey God, then our lives do have meaning, even if all He asks us to do is cook lentils and raise children.” That statement was a powerful reminder to me that God has different jobs for each of us to do, and the important thing is that we OBEY Him. 🙂
Thank you for sharing with us today, and I hope you’re having a wonderful week.
Hugs, Patti Jo 🙂

I was just rereading Jocelyn Green’s Wedded To War (a Civil War novel I highly recommend!) in anticipation of her new release next month, and this quote jumped out at me: “Just because something is difficult doesn’t mean it isn’t worth doing” (275). The heroine is referring to her work as a nurse, but it is plenty applicable out of context, too, whenever we’re in a situation where the task stretches us. It’s really easy to fall into the “it’s more work than it’s worth” trap to avoid doing something difficult, uncomfortable, or unpleasant, or where we do not receive adequate compensation (in money or praise) for our time. Maybe we don’t receive the main benefits ourselves, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth doing!

Such a great reminder, Rachael. So true. I haven’t read Wedded to War yet but just took a peek. Looks really good! Thanks for the rec!

I love the quotes and pictures! I often try to pull a quote from a book to include in my review, but I never thought about making a pin of it. Now all I have to do is learn how to make and share pins! 🙂
I recently read “Undetected” by Dee Henderson and there is a particular quote that has stuck with me. “‘Think of normal as being what God intends for your life,’ Mark said. ‘Un-normal is everything that’s something other than His plans for you.'” – Mark Bishop, page 127
I often struggle with wishing I was “normal” – thinking I would fit in better or would have more friends if I could just figure out what normal is. I definitely like this definition much better. 🙂
Thanks for a fun discussion!

I LOVE making pins, Sarah. A dangerous pastime! : ) Also LOVE that quote from Dee’s book, and appreciate your reflections on it. I’m so grateful God uses us with all our faults and foibles to accomplish his will. Thanks for sharing, friend.
