Finally! After a bumpy road to publication, Colors of Truth, a Carnton novel (book 2) is NOW AVAILABLE from Fountain Creek Press.
The book is available in print & eBook. And, within two weeks, in hardback and audio as well.
FIRST —
THANK YOU for the flood of support and encouragement during recent weeks. While I did not anticipate the cancellation of this book, God has certainly used the experience to draw me closer to him and I’m so grateful for that!
My prayer is that Wade and Catriona’s story in Colors of Truth will draw you closer to him, too.
SECONDLY—
While Colors of Truth should be widely available by October 6, it’s already shipping from some vendors (links here).
BUT PLEASE NOTE that an initial search for the book on your favorite vendor will likely pull up a version from the former publisher. These should have been deleted weeks ago according to our agreement, but they’re still up which is confusing when ordering, I know, and delaying the process. I apologize for that confusion. My agent and I are working to get that rectified!
So please look for the imprint (“Publisher”) FOUNTAIN CREEK PRESS when ordering. Questions? Let me know!
As always, thank you for reading and taking these journeys with me, friends.
On another note, how are things in your corner of the world? Are you part of the areas that are already open or opening up soon (be sure and include where you are)? Have you or any of your family been sick with COVID? I’d love to know how to better pray for you today!
Much love,
Tamera

YAY! So excited for your book release! I found the correct version and hit the pre-order button. Praying that all readers who pick up this book will be blessed by it. I’m just outside of Philadelphia, PA. We’re not as open as we’d like to be but the towns and businesses seem to be trying to support each other as best they can. One local town shuts down their main road on the weekends, diverting traffic around, so that businesses can move outdoors in order to comply with the new rules while allowing as many people to shop/eat as possible.

Thank you so much, Joy! I hope you enjoy Colors of Truth. I loved hearing about how the town shuts down their main roads on the weekends in an effort to support the local businesses. Working together, that’s what it’s all about.

What an experience for you! I’m glad to learn the story is being released. I look forward to reading. 🙂

Thanks, Melissa! It’s been a journey, for sure. But as my son Kurt often says, “God’s got this.” And he does! ; )
Betty/ Strohecker says
Congratulations! Looking forward to it.
We are partially open in Virginia – restaurants with reduced capacity and social distancing. I live in Virginia Beach` and some of our students have returned to school: Special Ed and preschool went back first; last week was K- 2; next week is grades 2-5, 6 and 9. We have a phased school reopening, with everyone starting virtually. Prayers for our students and teachers would be much appreciated.

Prayers rising for students and teachers, Betty, and for a vaccine and healing not only for this nation but for the world. Thanks for sharing, friend.

So excited about getting/reading this book. Sorry for the delay you had getting it published.
Tamera Alexander says
Thanks, Emogene! God’s got this (as my son Kurt often says). And he does!

We’re in Phase 3 in Maryland, however, some counties have done things differently. DC remains in Phase 2.
Congrats on your new novel’s release!:) Changing publishers is a big leap especially if you’ve been with one for some years. I hope you’ll have a good relationship with Fountain Creek!
For those who are Christianbook.com customers, Oct. 2nd shows for release/shipping.
Tamera Alexander says
Praying for you and yours in Maryland, Elisa, and for health and safety as you continued to open up. I appreciate your kind words. And on ChristianBook… The books that are still up on their site are from my old publisher, not my own imprint Fountain Creek Press. I’m still working with them (and Ingram, the distributor they use) to get them the books. But they’re coming!

We have lost one cousin to Vivid 19 on my husband’s side. My daughter needs prayer as she is a nurse working with Covid 19 patients.
Tamera Alexander says
Oh Shirley, I’m praying for you and your family in this loss, and I’m praying for your daughter. Nurses are a special breed. I’m praying blessings on her and on the people she ministers to. And for you as you love and support her through all this. Hugs from Nashville.

Yay!! So happy and excited for you. Bought our copy today!! Is it still too early to preorder the 3rd in the series? 😁😍 Thank you for your integrity, sticking to a truthfully honest story no matter the cost! What a crazy year it’s been!!!
Tamera Alexander says
LOL, Becky! That made me laugh. Let me finish writing book 3 first before you try to pre-order it! ; ) Much love to you and yes, 2020 has been a crazy one.

Things are opening up some here in Neosho, Missouri, but I am staying in as much as possible because of ill respiratory health. It’s scary to me, but I know my God is in control through all the craziness! Our daughter who lives in Shawnee, Oklahoma, had COVID in late May/early June, but thankfully she had a fairly light case & didn’t get extremely bad.
I just ordered your Colors of Truth book, along with the other books in the series. Although my personal preference on time periods in books is the early 1800s, I enjoy your writing & wanted to support your efforts in publishing Colors of Truth in the way you felt best to portray that time period… like it truly was. History is what it is, the good & the bad. May God bless our nation & may God bless you! 💕
Tamera Alexander says
Good on the opening up in Neosho, Lori, but yes please do take care of yourself. Especially with those conditions. I’m grateful your daughter didn’t have a bad case of it. While our immediate family hasn’t had it, many of our friends have. Those cases range from very mild to very sick (but not hospitalization). They say it’s pretty rough.
Thanks for your kind words and for reading Colors of Truth. And I agree on history. We must learn from the sins and mistakes of our ancestors, not rewrite them. God, heal our hearts and our land.
