At the Reader Rendezvous in the fall of 2024, wonderful reader Beckie (of the ByTheBook Blog) asked me if I’d be interested in coming to Georgia to speak at the festival she helps organize. My immediate answer was, “YES!”
Fast forward more than a year, and I’ll soon be traveling to Georgia to make good on that yes.

In honor of America’s 250th birthday, the Perry Page Turners are calling this year’s festival “Read, White & Blue”. How cute is that?
DETAILS:
February 21st
Perry, Georgia
General Admission: $5
Lunch Ticket: $30
VIP Author Meet & Greet on Friday: $10
Authors: Natalie Walters, TI Lowe, Amanda Cox, Robin Pearson,
Jayna Breigh, Rachel Dylan, Angela Ruth Strong, and many more.
I’ll be serving as the luncheon speaker and drawing inspiration from the life of Caleb from the Old Testament to speak on the topic of Trust and Perseverance. In addition to that, they’re planning several author panels which sound terrific. Head here for the schedule, the complete list of authors, registration details, etc.
I really love having the opportunity to speak and also to visit with readers face-to-face. Here are a few pictures of the chances I’ve had to do those things over the past year or so. Hunting through my phone for these photos made me smile!

I’m looking forward to the conversations, laughter, and encouragement that comes when bookworms gather. There’s such a feeling of camaraderie thanks to our shared love of reading!
If you live within driving distance of Perry, grab a friend and make plans to join us!
