Merry Christmas from the Klassen family!
Since it’s my turn to blog today, I thought I would make a Christmas-related announcement. Several people who have read my latest book, The Bride of Ivy Green (Book Three in the Tales From Ivy Hill series) have already emailed to say they are sad to see the series end, or to ask if I would please write another Ivy Hill book. The good news is, my publisher has asked me to write a Christmas novella set in Ivy Hill, so readers will get to return there one more time! Some patience will be required, however, because the novella is scheduled for Fall 2020, but I hope it’s worth the wait. I will post more information later, but wanted to share this fun news at Christmas time.
I have never written a Christmas novella before. Those of you who read them (or write them!) regularly, any advice for me? Anything you love (or don’t love) about Christmas novellas? I’d appreciate your input. In the meantime, I’m wishing you a joy-filled Christmas and a happy and healthy 2019.

Merry Christmas, Julie. Looking forward to more from Ivy Hill.
I read a number of novellas. I like the story to seem complete (even in a short number of pages), but not rushed. In the Ivy Hill series, that should be easy to do because you have well-known, established characters.
