Have you heard of a “blind date with a book”? Essentially, a library or bookstore or friend will wrap several books and then write clues on each one. You pick the one that matches your mood based on the clues, unwrap it, and go on a date with it by reading it.
Today, I’m doing the very same thing virtually! The advantage here is that you can “unwrap” them ALL.

Here’s hoping I’ve succeeded at setting you up on a date with a book this weekend! Which one did you unwrap first?
Before I go, I wanted to mention this amazing e-book deal on the first two books in my current Misty River Romance series…. Stay with Me is free until the end of March and Let It Be Me is priced at just $4.99! This deal is available at all your favorite online retailers of e-books.

I loved this! I was able to guess correctly one title–I just finished reading A Heart Adrift! And guessed 1 other author correctly. I have read 3 of the books you wrapped, and plan to seek out the others to read!
I’m so glad you had fun “unwrapping” these books, Martha! 🙂
Such fun!I unwrapped A Heart Adrift first, which I have had on my “to buy” list ever since it came out. As a Virginian, I enjoyed The Tidewater Bride, so have been looking forward to this one. Also, I’m so excited for your Maine series!
Laura is such a talented author!
I’ve read three of these books already so I think they are great choices. I gave the Appalachian set book to my mom for Christmas. Now I need to go borrow it!!
Fun post!!
Yep, it sounds like it’s your turn to read that one now! 🙂
What a fun “book date”! I guessed 4 right but the others weren’t my usual genre. It’s always fun to learn about new books & authors or revisit recent favorites!
Good job guessing 4 right!!
What a fun post! I unwrapped them all to see. I was most drawn to yours & Dani Pettrey’s- sweet, clean romance with either fun, witty banter or suspense! Thanks for sharing! Hope you will do this again periodically! 😀
I’m happy to hear you had fun with this post! And I think I’ll take your suggestion and do this again from time to time.
That was fun! I was only able to guess a couple!
With SO MANY published books, it’s hard to narrow those clues down to just one novel!
Such a cute idea, Becky! I, of course, was intrigued by the historical book with chocolate. 🙂 Two of my favorite things wrapped in one delectable package.
Right?! Historical romance + chocolate? Win!
I LOVE this!!! Unfortunately, I was only able to guess A Heart Adrift…I don’t read much contemporary. 🙁
Thanks for stopping by! It’s pretty hard to pinpoint novels based on the clues!
My pleasure! It really is!!
I guessed Laura’s and Courtney’s.
Well done!!
What a cute idea Becky! I unwrapped every single one of them! LOL
I hoped readers would be inspired to do just that!:)
I unwrapped “Is It Any Wonder” first.
Nantucket is such an enticing setting!
I haven’t read anything by Dani in ages. I liked the quick summary! I need to buy this one!
Yes!
Awww. Thanks so much for including me. What a wonderful idea for a post. I had so much fun guessing and unwrapping them.
What a good idea!
The first book I chose, “Young Adult, Fantastical Elements, Dangerous Twists and Turns”, is a book that I read when it came out a few months ago. Loved It!
I thought it was wonderful, too!
This was sooo much fun to unwrap each book and see what the titke and summary/blurb was I hope you do this again! 🙂
I think I will!
