Great Deals on Great Reads

September 6, 2018 By Karen Witemeyer

I admit it. I love a good sale. I don’t have time to cruise garage sales or dig through discount racks, but if I happen to run across a sale on something I love, it’s hard for me to pass it up. And since I love reading, if I find a great sale on books, my clicking finger starts happy dancing.

My music teacher / bounty hunter romance is on sale this month for only $1.99. If you’re in the mood for a swoon-worthy dime novel hero, a passel of quirky kids, and a woman determined to keep both her students and her heart safe, now’s the time to give A Worthy Pursuit a try.

But what’s the point of one item being on sale when there could be an entire shelf filled with great bargain reads? So, I reached out to some of my author friends and put together a collection of fabulous deals in Christian fiction going on right now.

(All these deals are for e-books unless otherwise specified.)

Mass Market Print at Christian Book

For convenience sake, I used links to the Kindle versions, but nearly all of these promotions are good for the Nook as well as other digital platforms.

Treat yourself to a little something special or surprise a friend with a copy of one of your favorite reads.

These look great, thanks! I love to read (former Literature teacher turned stay-at-home mom), but can only afford books when they are a few dollars instead of $10. Then I can read more! Can’t wait to go through these and order them today! Thanks so much!

Like you, I’m always looking for a good sale. I recently got a whopper of a deal! I was at Kohl’s looking through the clearance racks and found an $80 Chaps sweater for $8! It had a couple of stray threads that were accidently woven into the pattern so I assume it was on the rack because it was “damaged”. I also had a 30% off coupon so bought it for $5.60! It took about 5 minutes to extract the errant threads and now I have a beautiful sweater for really cheap. SCORE!!!

Awesome! I love those kind of finds. Enjoy your sweater, Kathy!

I, too, love a sale! Thanks for mentioning A Love Like Ours 99 cent price. 🙂

Great deals on great books! The e-book sales have definitely widened my reading horizons. I’m much more likely to try a new author if I don’t have to risk so much for the first book I read by them. I love garage sales and antique malls for finding great deals too!

I have to admit that I’m a fan of the e-book sales, too, Heidi. You are so right about it being easier to try something new when the price point is a smaller commitment.

Great deals for those who like to read ebooks!
I prefer print books so I look for them at yard sales. I also get to review many print books, so very blessed.
