I hope you and your family are enjoying a very happy Thanksgiving weekend!
Our oldest daughter graduated from college in May and is now working as a medical assistant in San Diego. Our son is a sophomore at Hendrix College in Arkansas, where he plays basketball. Our youngest still lives at home and started high school at the performing arts magnet school this year. We’re fortunate to have all three home for Thanksgiving!
Wherever you are, whoever you’re with, may this long weekend be marked with gratitude, rest, and awareness that “every good and perfect gift is from above.” James 1:17
Happy Thanksgiving. God bless you all!

How wonderful to have all your kids home! Your Thanksgiving feast looks delicious! Except for the jello, those are all the dishes I remember from my childhood Thanksgivings. Our feast with our Missouri kids isn’t until Saturday so your greeting isn’t belated at all. 🙂

Becky, my aunt always made that cranberry salad (with pineapple and orange), but I have lost the recipe. Care to share yours? You have my email, if you’re willing!! I had a lovely time with my family at my oldest daughter’s house. Other daughter is in California and three of the six grandkids are in Texas, so there was missing going on too.But it was wonderful all the same. So glad yours was too!!

It is so special to see that even though we can’t all be together at Thanksgiving our plates look so similar especially with the Cranberry Salad. Mom’s, your grandma’s, recipe in her handwriting comes out every year for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was nice your college graduate and student could be home!
