Hello! Since it’s my night to post here on Inspired by Life and Fiction, and I’m busy enjoying Christmas with my family, as I hope you are as well, I thought I would simply repost this photo from my publisher’s Facebook page…
My son in college recently came home for Christmas break. I asked him to pick a few favorite ornaments to hang on the tree. Here are three he chose and how he chose to hang them—clustered together to represent our family. Our “1st Christmas Together” ornament my husband gave me years ago, and photo “lambs” made in a Community Bible Study children’s program. My younger son does NOT look happy, but it sure makes me happy to look at this grouping.
And in case you haven’t seen it yet, here is the Queen of England’s Christmas message for 2017. She says it so much better than I ever could. Merry Christmas to one and all!

Thank you for posting this, Julie – a wonderful message and what fun to hear the Queen deliver it. I’ve read her Christmas messages before but never seen one. Enjoy your Christmas season!
