Okay, my turn to share an empty post. Yesterday, I got bogged down in some serious edits on a suspense that just will not end! All week I’ve been working on this. I always go back to the beginning when I get stuck and this time I was not only stalled out, but my word count was sorely lacking, too! (Something not never happens with wordy Elnora here!)
So I’m sitting there this morning enjoying my coffee and clearing out my e-mail and I stopped and gasped. I’d forgotten to schedule a post for today! And today is the day I announce the winner’s of our release “Sleigh Bells Ring”!!! I’ll do that at the end of the post.
Right now, I want to give thanks and a big shout-out to one of the authors of the book. My friend Sandie Bricker invited me to be a part of this collection and about two days before our big launch, she woke up with a massive headache. It got so bad, she drove herself to the ER. Well, she had a brain bleed and had to undergo surgery for a tumor. We all prayed a lot and canceled all publicity and promotion on this book. Last week was very scary for all of us. But I’m happy to report that she made it through surgery and is now in a rehab facility and so far, she is doing great. So … while I’m thrilled to be a part of this book, I’m even more thrilled to be a part of Sandie’s amazing life and to know that my friend is okay. On that note, let’s celebrate. Here are the two names I picked to receive a copy of Sleigh Bells Ring! Congratulations and thank you so much for visiting the blog. I read all the comments even if I didn’t get to respond to all of them!

Before I go, a picture of a bit of pretty. We don’t have a lot of fall in Florida but we do have beauty all around us. And such scenes reinforce God’s amazing ability, even in times of worry and sadness. Thank you, Lord, for protecting my friend Sandie Bricker!
