Introducing–the Good Seed Collective

December 1, 2025 By Angela Hunt

Because I write for kids, I’m always being asked to recommend good books for boys, for girls, for kids of certain ages. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but books in general today have become a lot more . . . how do I say this . . . well, there’s a lot in them that doesn’t conform to Christian ideals.

So a couple of my writer friends put their heads together and we have formed the “Good Seed Collective”–a digital catalog of books from several Christian authors, broken into age specific genre categories. So if your middle grader loves mysteries, there’s a page for that. If your grand baby is ready for picture books, there are pages for that.

We plan to add more (vetted!) authors as time passes, and we’ll have new catalogs for each season.

The catalog is free–you can download it, put it on your e-reader, phone, or tablet, and click on the order links. It couldn’t be easier. Just follow the directions on the download page. To download the catalog, just go here: goodseed.info. These are books you can trust.

Here’s a video that will give you an idea of the books available.

This is amazing, Angela! If we are a kid lit author whose books would fit into this catalog, how do we request being added? Thank you!

We have pretty stringent requirements for being included–including that the author must have been published by a traditional publisher, must have at least six books to include, and must sign a statement of faith.
