The Christmas season is here, and if you’re anything like me, you’re directly in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Shopping, baking, decorating the house, wrapping gifts, getting packages in the mail . . . It seems like every time I scratch one thing off the to-do list, three more appear to take its place.
Wouldn’t it be nice if someone sent you a big care package to help you relax and escape the madness? Wouldn’t you love to curl up with a good book, some cozy socks on your feet and a cup of tea in your hand?
Well, call me Mrs. Santa, because I aim to make one book-lover’s secret wish come true this week.

I just finished listening to A Texas Christmas Carol and can see why it won so many awards. What a delightful story! I loved the heroine’s pluck. Favorite bookish gifts I’ve received have been sweatshirts and fuzzy socks. As well as books themselves, of course! Thanks for writing so many wonderful stories, Karen. I certainly enjoy reading them.

Fuzzy socks are the best! Thank you for your kind words, Rebecca. I’m so glad you enjoyed Evan and Felicity’s story. 🙂

Yes! I have several Willow Tree figurines that involve books. Some of my favorite decorations.

Other than actual books, mine would have to be a lap throw and puzzle.
Karen Witemeyer says
Great choices, Kay! I love a fun bookish puzzle, and I always seem to be cold, so a bookish lap throw would be perfect!

I love bookish gifts! Alas, my honey does not feel the love…he supports and appreciates, but he’d rather be out creating with wood. He does give good gift cards though! I love the book socks, books!, scarves, postcards, bookmarks (because I don’t already have 500). Anything books! OH, tote bags. That’s my current favorite. We were on vacay in Montreal and I came home with 5!

I’m a firm believer that one can never have too many bookish tote bags or bookmarks. 🙂

I love getting books and gift cards for books. I give books, also – two Bibles, latest releases to friends of their favorite authors, and gift cards this year.
Thank you for this amazing giveaway. Merry Christmas!
Karen Witemeyer says
Yes, Betty! Giving bookish gifts to those who will appreciate them is even more fun that receiving them.
