Yesterday, I posted this video to Instagram…
The responses that have come in so far have me smiling!
Here’s Joy at @dareyoutoread on Instagram, proving that her stack of Becky Wade books is substantially larger (and heavier to lift) than my own collection.

Here’s Mimi at @books.n.blossoms on Instagram depicting the most frequent answer to my, “Can you lift your TBR stack?” question. Most readers have said, “Are you crazy? I have whole bookcases FULL of books to be read!”

Here’s Paige at @xxonemorechapterxx on Instagram, as she attempts to lift two large stacks and several books go tumbling down.

Kailey on Facebook said, “Here’s what happened when I tried to lift part of my TBR.” Ha ha ha!

What about you? If you’re a reader, could you lift your TBR stack? If you’re an author, could you lift a stack of the books you’ve written?

So fun, Becky. I love it! My active TBR pile is fairly small. Since I know I don’t have much time to read, I try to keep it under control. But if my digital TBR became physical, I would likely be buried like Kailey. 🙂
Ha ha ha! The fact that we can easily lift 100s of books on our e-readers is a definite perk of digital reading.
LOL! I could easily lift mine because they are on my Oasis Kindle (ebooks) and/or my iPhone (Audible). Even together, both devices weigh only about a pound and I can hold both in one hand. That includes close to 70 of my own books and hundreds upon hundreds of TBR books.
This is excellent in your case, Robin, because you’d never be able to list a physical stack of all the books you’ve published. You’re amazing! 🙂
Love it! I can easily lift my stack of authored books. But my TBR? Like Mimi, mine’s a whole bookshelf!
You’re in good company with that!
