Goodness, it’s a busy time of year, and a very busy week for me and I’m guessing for most of you as well. My Christmas will be a simple one, due to multiple deadlines. I haven’t yet baked a single cookie or wrapped a present, but will be busy today, trying to catch up! Still, I wanted to pause a moment and wish a Merry and Blessed Christmas to all the Inspired by Life and Fiction readers and authors.
Here is an image of what is believed to be the first commercial Christmas card (1843) to send you all the joys of the season. And here’s one more from 1870:

Julie, I am so excited my daughter gave me your new book with your special signing for Christmas. She and Suzy are the best and so are you. I have read everyone of your books, but I have to say they were on my tablet as that is easier for me to hold. I have never had one of your actual books to hold in my hands.
